Many people want to know what is the best Holy Bible to use in your study of scripture. I have a variety of different Bibles from the time when I was in the Pentecostal church, then the Lutheran church and finally back to the Catholic Church. I am a cradle Catholic, wandered for a time when I was in my teens, married in the Pentecostal church, left after a few years and then entered the Lutheran church as my wife and I looked for a church we were both happy in. Left the Lutheran church due to pastor preaching that communion was just a symbol and not the body and blood of Christ.
I decided to search the History Of Religion, so I did not have any influence of any one church. I learned about the Early Church Fathers and how some of them were taught by the Apostles. I knew the Apostles were taught by Jesus, so I knew I would find the true church started by God. It kept coming back to the Holy Catholic Church.
After listening to Scott Hahn speak about his conversion to the Catholic Church on a show on EWTN called The Journey Home, He explained and showed in scripture how the Holy Eucharist was the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. I knew I had to come back to the Catholic Church. My wife and children all became Catholic.I never stopped being Catholic, I just wasn't a practicing Catholic.
