It's Jesus All Or Nothing

  

 Does your church follow everything Jesus taught ? The only Church that follows everything Jesus taught is the Catholic Church. I was baptized in the Catholic Church, wandered around in my teens and early 20s. When I met my wife, her and her family were going to a Pentecostal church. I started going, because I like her and I was interested in the church. It was okay at first and we were married in that church. I did hear people make comments about the Catholic Church and it bothered me. One day I judged my mother and thought she was going to hell, because she did not accept Jesus as her personal savior. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and I knew this was wrong. I spoke to my wife and we left the Pentecostal church.

 After searching and going too many different churches, we ended up in the Lutheran church. We spent quite a few years as our children were young. One day the pastor said that communion was only a symbol. The Holy Spirit spoke to me again and I knew I had to leave that church. I decided that I did not want any influence from any one church, so I searched through the History Of Religion. It kept coming back to the Catholic Church, being the only Church started by God when Jesus gave Peter The Keys To The Kingdom. I happened to see a program on EWTN called The Journey Home. EWTN was the Catholic Channel on cable TV. I had never watched it before. The person on EWTN was Scott Hahn and he explained how he became Catholic due to the Holy Eucharist.

 I knew that I had to come back to the Catholic Church. I spoke to my wife and explained that she had to decide for herself. She spoke to the Pastor and Prayed about it, she decided to become Catholic and all our children became Catholic. I will never leave the Catholic Church again.

 Okay, back to the subject on the post. Have you ever had anyone tell you that all you had to do was believe in Jesus ? I have had various people from other churches tell me that. I even had a Pastor from a local church tell me that while he was at my door trying to get us to go to a barbecue at his church. I explained to him that you can not only believe in Jesus. He then said the old Jesus said you must be born again. I explained to him that you have to read all of what Jesus said and read all the scripture, otherwise you are taking it out of context. I told him if you read further that being Born Again was about Baptism. About being Born of Water and Spirit, which is Baptism.

 There are many times where a person tries to interpret scripture and they take it completely out of context. My own brother who is in a born again church does exactly that.He did it one time when he tried to convert me. He did not like that answers I was giving him and he stopped. I have had other friends through facebook and at various work places do the same thing. I know that their pastors do not want read all of scripture, because they know they would end up becoming Catholic.

 I had one friend who is in the Calvinist church say he admired that I loved Jesus  more that I loved the Catholic Church. I think he thought this, because our conversation was about Jesus. I thought about what he said and I realized that The Catholic Church is all part of Jesus. When I eat his flesh and drink his blood, he is in me and I am in him. We are one and that is a closer relationship then he will ever have.

  Yes it's that time of year when the little trick or treaters will be out going door to door to collect candy. Many so called born again Christians will be saying that you are worshipping Satan. This is so far from the truth, it's crazy. I can remember taking my children out trick or treating and one house would hand out various tracks instead of candy. They were trying to convert you to their false church.

You Must Eat My Flesh And Drink My Blood

 

 Sorry this is not about some weird blood sucking vampire movie. This is about what our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ told us to do. Jesus said if we do not do this, will not have life in us and we will not be raised on the last day. Now I don't know about you, but I certainly do not want to miss out on this one. Yes things have been tough with going to Mass, Communion and Confession due to COVID.  This however going away and it will be safe to go back to Mass every Sunday.

 I can not understand for the life of me how a Protestant, Evangelical or so called Born Again Christian can read this and not realize that they need to covert and become Catholic. These are the words that Jesus spoke to all the apostles. Yes a lot of them could not accept this teaching, because they thought it was paganism and therefore they left. This then left only the 12 Apostles to follow Jesus.

 The problem is that these so called Christians do not read all of scripture. They only read what their pastors teach them and tell them to read. You see these pastors know that if their congregation were to read all of scripture, they would become Catholic. So it is up to all Catholics to read, learn and study the bible. Then you can answer anyone's questions. Yes there will be those that want to trick you and convince you that they are correct and you are wrong. I see this all the time on youtube where someone makes a video to try and prove the Catholic Church to be wrong.

The Bread of Life Discourse.

22^* The next day, the crowd that remained across the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not gone along with his disciples in the boat, but only his disciples had left.

23^* Other boats came from Tiberias near the place where they had eaten the bread when the Lord gave thanks.

24When the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus.

25And when they found him across the sea they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”

26Jesus answered them and said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, you are looking for me not because you saw signs but because you ate the loaves and were filled.

27Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life,^* which the Son of Man will give you. For on him the Father, God, has set his seal.”^l

28So they said to him, “What can we do to accomplish the works of God?”

29Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in the one he sent.”

30So they said to him, “What sign can you do, that we may see and believe in you? What can you do?^m

31^* Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written:ⁿ

‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”

32So Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.^o

33For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34^p So they said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”

35^* Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.^q

36But I told you that although you have seen [me], you do not believe.^r

37Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me,

38because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.^s

39And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it [on] the last day.^t

40For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him [on] the last day.”^u

41The Jews murmured about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven,”

42and they said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph? Do we not know his father and mother? Then how can he say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”^v

43Jesus answered and said to them, “Stop murmuring^* among yourselves.^w

44No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day.

45It is written in the prophets:

‘They shall all be taught by God.’

Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me.^x

46Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father.^y

47Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.

48I am the bread of life.

49Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died;^z

50this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.

51I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”^a

52The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?”

53Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.

54Whoever eats^* my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.

55For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.

56Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.

57Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.^b

58This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.”

59These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

The Words of Eternal Life.^*

60Then many of his disciples who were listening said, “This saying is hard; who can accept it?”

61Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this, he said to them, “Does this shock you?

62What if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?^*

63It is the spirit that gives life, while the flesh^* is of no avail. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

64But there are some of you who do not believe.” Jesus knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe and the one who would betray him.^c

65And he said, “For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by my Father.”

66As a result of this, many [of] his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him.

67Jesus then said to the Twelve, “Do you also want to leave?”

68Simon Peter answered him, “Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

69We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.”^d

70Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you twelve? Yet is not one of you a devil?”

71He was referring to Judas, son of Simon the Iscariot; it was he who would betray him, one of the Twelve.^e

 You see if you do not read all of scripture, you will end up being misinformed and spread lies and misinformation.

Commercials For Homosexuality And Lesbianism, Transgenders Etc... What Is Going On With The World Today ?

 

 

 Every time I turn on the television these days all I see are commercials promoting Homosexuality and Lesbianism. What is going on with the world ? It seems as if Satan is trying to destroy the family by promoting these corrupt ideas. Now I have heard that the Pope said that these relationships are okay. What we need to hate is the sexual relationship that occurs between the two individuals. In other words hate the sin and not the sinner.

 Well I certainly do not hate the sinners, but I do not approve of these types of relationships. I have recently heard on the news that the schools are teaching these topics to children in grades from 1 to 12. This is Satan trying to work his way in and destroy the family. God created woman for man, so they could procreate and advance the fruit of the husband and wife. A man and a man can not create a child and a woman and woman can not create a child between themselves.

 I have seen other programs on transgenders, where a man wants to be a woman or a woman wants to be a man. They are also trying to teach this in the grades from 1 to 12. This needs to be stopped before it gets way out of control. What schools need to realize is that children need to be taught about God and his commandments. There are some politicians that are trying to do this. We need to stop Satan and put him back in the pit where he belongs.

 Abortion is another grave sin that needs to be stopped. I have seen on the news where people do not want the child, so they want to just abort it. They also want to abort the child in cases of rape and incest. This is horrible and is an abomination to God and needs to be stopped. The only time when the woman should be able to make a choice on abortion is if the woman's life is at stake, a medical reason or the fetus is already deceased and needs to be removed for the woman's health. Politicians  are are using this as a means to be elected.

 The final problem is the killing of innocent men, women and children. A person enters a school or business and opens fire. The person says they are just trying to prove a point. The political people are trying to ban the automatic weapons that these sick people use. Yes this may help, but if a person is hell bent on killing, they will just find another means. What we need to do is stop the reason for the person from killing before it gets to that point. The gun kills when the person holding it pulls the trigger. People need to change or get the help.

 Yes Jesus said we are to love one another, but that is not sexual love.

Talking To The Dead - Is It Okay ?

 

 

 Today, there are many people out there trying to contact the dead. There are many different shows on cable tv where they are trying to speak to the spirits of people that have passed away. The problem with this is that it is very clear in scripture that we are not to contact the dead. When people are doing this, they are going against what Jesus taught. It looks like the majority of these people have no real faith. I have even seen some where they have a so called priest on the show. 

 So when is it okay to speak with the dead ? The only time according to Jesus was when a spirit contacted you. The spirit will try to contact you if it needs help for some reason or it needs to get a message across for some reason. That is the only time you should be speaking to a spirit. This is when you may need some piece of equipment to be able to listen to the spirit. There are items that can detect the energy in the area, spirit boxes that may pick up the voice of the spirit or e digital recorder.

 The issue you that you are going to run into, is that you don't know if this is the spirit of a person or is it a demon trying to trick you. The only way would be to ask the spirit if they have met Jesus. You can also as the spirit to confess with their voice that Jesus Christ is the Lord. If they are evil or a demon, they will not be able to do this. So you will always have to be on your guard.

 I have seen many of the television shows on cable that try to find out what the spirit wants or needs to say. The problem is that none of them follow the Catholic Church. They act as if they have the power to make a demon leave. They just have no faith and are playing with fire. They also tend to have mediums helping them and these are people we are not to associate with. So you need to be very Leary of all these so called ghost hunting shows on television.

 So if a spirit contacts you, I would have the proper equipment to hear better. I would also  make sure to involve a real priest and follow what Jesus taught and not the people with no faith.
