Is Jesus Christ The Man On The Shroud Of Turin

There is always a big debate on who the person is decapitated on the Shroud Of Turin. I have seen various documentaries on cable television over the years. Some thought he was a knight and others thought he was from some foreign country. They various tests over the years with carbon dating to determine when the shroud was made. I remember they determined it was made somewhere around 1290 to 1390 in the Middle Ages. Lately though they thought that due to the tests done on the parts of the cloth that were burned, it may have altered the date. Tests were redone on different areas of the cloth and it actually fit the time frame of Jesus. Here is a link to a Wikipedia page about the Shroud Of Turin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shroud_of_Turin .

I just wonder if this is just one of those things where we may never have the real story. I believe the main part of all this is that we just realize what the shroud represents. If other people want to believe something else then we should respect them for their choice just as we would like them to respect our choice. All I know is that they say it is not a painting from the Middle Ages and it has all the marks of a crucifixion. They have measured the marks and they are consistent with the tools that the Romans would have used. Does this prove that it is the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. No it does not, but on the other hand it does not prove that it isn't either. Maybe one day when Jesus returns he will answer the question. Unless you get to heaven first and you can ask him face to face. Of course you may recognize the face and won't have to ask.
All I can say is look at all the information on the Shroud Of Turin. Read the old information and the new information. Then make your decision and have a blessed day.
Thank You for reading and God Bless.
